Alex A. Ayala / Chief Executive Officer
Alex started a community of indie artists and writers back in 2015, and hosted it’s first convention in 2018. As of June 2024, he started Comic Indie Inc as a nonprofit. On his spare time Alex indulges in his creative spirit with various projects which include making mead, food, and comics.
Ayden A. Ayala / CoFounder
Ayden has been assisting with the fundamental aspects of the organization since the inception of Comic Indie. Currently he helps organize for the event along with sales and promotion along with assisting with sales on the the day of. Ayden is also involved with examining past events and fine tuning aspects for future events. On his spare time he loves working out, playing soccer watching classic files and reading a good book.
Joel Burgos / Chief Operations Officer
Joel has been assisting with various Comic Indie related tasks since the first convention in 2018. As of June 2024, Joel became the Cheif Operations Office in order to take on a grander role within the team. On his spare time Joel loves to create and play board games, watch DC related films and animation and socialize with friends and family.
Pizo Meyer / Media Host & Volunteer
Pizo Meyer has been featured in various Art Shows, Juried Exhibitions (2010 – 2025) and has published for: Xenophobe Magazine; GhostFish Publishing; Pulp21 Comics and –his very own– Ink The Bink Publishing. Along with being a comic book artist, Pizo creates highly detailed abstract drawings using different techniques. Pen, pencil and paper are his favorite way to create and he believes great art can be made with the most basic materials.
